Gran Kaz donates essential care equipment to elderly homes

The comfort, dignity, and wellbeing of elderly residents in care homes across Seychelles have received a welcome boost thanks to a donation of essential care equipment from Gran Kaz.

Following consultations with the Department of Family Affairs, Gran Kaz donated items valued at R50,000, including wheelchairs, mobility aids, medical mattresses, bath chairs, and first aid kits. These will be distributed among elderly homes on Mahé, Praslin, and La Digue, supporting residents with varying mobility and healthcare needs.

The donation was made after discussions with the principal secretary and director general of the Department of Family Affairs to identify equipment that would provide the greatest benefit to residents and caregivers.
