Seychelles delegation joins regional workshop on methane and climate action

The National Assembly of Seychelles participated in a regional workshop on Methane and Climate Action from May 15–18, 2026, hosted in Nairobi, Kenya. The event was organised by the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) in partnership with the Climate Parliament and UNIDO, with support from the Green Climate Fund, as part of the Parliamentarians for Climate Finance (PCF) project.

Seychelles was represented by Hon. Cecile Larsen, chairperson of the Parliamentary Steering Committee for the PCF project; Hon. François Adelaide, committee member; and Samia Lebon, committee clerk to the Committee on Environment, Fisheries and Tourism (CEFT).
