For Frances Chang-Him, art is more than passion – it is healing, purpose, and a lifelong dream rediscovered.

Born on October 6, 1976, the 49-year-old Seychelloise began her education at Mont Fleuri Primary and Secondary School before continuing at Plaisance Secondary in 1992. She later joined the National Youth Service (NYS) in 1993 and pursued her ‘O’ and ‘A’ Levels at the Polytechnic School of Humanities and Science from 1994 to 1996.
