Seychelles and the Kyrgyz Republic have signed a visa waiver agreement, marking a significant step in strengthening ties between the two nations.

The agreement, aimed at facilitating travel and fostering closer people-to-people connections, is expected to boost exchanges in tourism, trade, and cultural cooperation while deepening bilateral relations.

The signing took place during a bilateral meeting on May 4, 2026, between Barry Faure, Minister for Foreign Affairs and the Diaspora of Seychelles, and his counterpart Kulubaev Jeenbek Moldokanovich, Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.
