The Ministry of Social Affairs, Family & Equality has presented its first quarterly progress report for 2026, highlighting reforms, infrastructure upgrades, and expanded social protections across elderly care, child protection, digitalisation of services, and family support programmes.

The press conference was led by Minister Pamela Charlette, alongside secretary of state Linda William-Melanie, principal secretary for Family Department Mike Morel, principal secretary for Social Affairs Department Beryl Payet, chief executive of the Agency for Social Protection (ASP) Roma Edmond, director of Therapy Services at the National Council for Children (NCC) Gerard Limsam, and chief executive of the Home Care Agency Davis Mathiot.
