41 judokas fly to Mauritius today
Seychelles will be represented at this year’s Tournoi International de Judo de l’Ile Maurice by a contingent of 41 judokas coming from three clubs – Grand Anse Praslin, Etoile and Baie Ste Anne.
The team depart for Mauritius today.
The Grand Anse Praslin consist of Ellie-Anne Alexis, Christy Sophola, Ellin Bistoe, Elna Bistoe, Christian Ernest, Samerov Jeannevol and Paul Baronne.
Emmanuel Battin, Dylan Bonnelame, Julius Bouchereau, Clint Cesar, Neil Chetty, Nella Chetty, Bruno Croisée, Dominic Dugasse, Joey Emmanuel, Wayne Esther, Dinarah Fred, Hezron Lesperance, Cheryl Marie, David Marie, Stephen Marie, Tirah Mousbé, Shane Onezime, Satiya Padayachy, Joshua Rachel, Hella Rose, and Jamael Rosette are the judokas from Baie Ste Anne club.
The Etoile team comprise Jhadhel Bodwell, Quirah Capricieuse, Derick Croisée, Arian Dubignon, Reuben Edmond, Shaun King, Keith Larue, Arielle Matombé, Samuel Onezia, Ashley Paul, Amandah Payet, Alexander Quilindo, and Kendra Vital.
The Grand Anse Praslin Judo Club and Etoile Judo Club will return on Monday March 9, 2026, while members of the Baie Ste Anne Praslin Judo Club will be back on Wednesday March 11, 2026.
