Air Seychelles steps up recovery efforts following regional airspace closures
The national airline carrier, Air Seychelles, has intensified its efforts this week to support passengers impacted by ongoing airspace closures in the Middle East, as initially communicated on Saturday, February 28, 2026.
In response to the widespread disruption, the airline is operating a series of special flights to Europe, comprising five flights to Paris and two to Prague. Through these additional operations, more than 1,400 passengers are able to travel from Seychelles to Europe, reconnecting with their onward journeys, families, and professional commitments during a period of considerable uncertainty.
The initiative also supported inbound travel from Paris to Seychelles, on a special fare of US $375, assisting travellers whose original itineraries had been disrupted and ensuring continued connectivity to the destination.
