Sacos opens La Digue branch

The La Digue community will now be able to access services offered by local insurance company Sacos, following the opening of a new office on the island.

Situated at the Seychelles Pension Fund building at La Passe, the new office was officially opened yesterday morning by Sacos chairperson, Patrice Bastide, and the chief executive of the Seychelles Financial Services Authority, Randolph Samson.

Present at the short ceremony was the chief executive of Sacos, Georgette Capricieuse, La Digue’s district administrator, Barbara Barallon and staff of the company. The new office was blessed by Catholic priest based on the island, Father Etienne.

In her speech, Ms Capricieuse said the inauguration of a new branch on La Digue is a promise and a milestone that reflects trust, collaboration and hope for the future.

“This new branch is a testament of our commitment to making insurance accessible, reliable, meaningful and rooted in the heart of the community. It symbolises our commitment to remain steadfast in our service, to stand by you, support and help you relate for whatever the future may hold,” she said.

“It is a place where challenges will be met with solutions and where relationships will be nurtured and strengthened.”
