Fatter dividend for financial year 2024

Shareholders of Cable & Wireless Seychelles have approved the sum of R133 million as dividends in respect of its financial year 2024, with each shareholder receiving R22.17 per share, payable as of April 23, 2025.
This was during the telecommunication company’s third annual general meeting (AGM) on Saturday April 5, 2025 at the Savoy Seychelles Resort & Spa, Beau Vallon. It followed the company’s financial success in achieving a total revenue of R931.9 million in 2024, an increase of 2.3 percent compared to 2023. This strong performance enabled Cable & Wireless Seychelles (CWS) to record an operating profit of R313.4 million, representing a 3.7 percent year-on-year increase.
