Care launches new campaign ‘Hearts to care and hands to help’

“Once again, Seychelles joins the rest of the world to commemorate the International Day Against Drug Abuse and illicit Trafficking. This year’s theme for the commemoration is ‘Breaking Chains: Prevention, Treatment and Recovery for All’. The theme aims to emphasise community support, healthcare, access and the need for global solidarity in addressing drug abuse and illicit trafficking.

“The 2025 commemoration also emphasises five key targets, including that of investing in prevention that should begin early in schools and communities, providing education on drug risks and early intervention strategies. The latter target is the essence of what Campaign for Awareness Resilience and Education(Care) has recently celebrated on its 30th anniversary.
