Club Med Seychelles welcomes first guests |29 March 2021
The most recent exclusive collection resort of the world-known brand Club Med started to welcome its first guests this weekend as part of a soft opening process.
This follows the opening of the frontiers to visitors under less strict conditions since March 25.
The 295-room resort on Sainte Anne island in the Seychelles features three swimming pools, a Zen zone, beach lounge and yoga school. Kids’ clubs will cater for children aged from two to 17, while specific programmes will offer families the chance to try activities such as paddle-boarding, yoga, cooking, and gardening.
Club Med Seychelles, a luxury all-inclusive resort, claims to fully support eco-friendly initiatives around the resort by having, among others, electric buggies, fuel-free water sports and no single-use plastics. In a nutshell, guests ‒ adults and children ‒ will rediscover their Robinson's soul for a stay in total harmony with nature where many activities are linked to the ocean and the sublime landscapes of the island.
Club Med Seychelles has accumulated much delay to start its operations due to constraints pertaining to the Covid-19 pandemic. It now employs nearly 400 people including 175 Seychellois who have received an initial training to be at par with the product and concept particular to the Club Med brand worldwide.
Seychelles NATION has also learned that the management of the resort is planning a comprehensive programme whereby key local stakeholders and the media will be invited to discover the resort.
