Seychelles, Georgia explore maritime and aviation cooperation

Minister for Transport, Ports & Civil Aviation, Veronique Laporte, held a meeting on September 15 with the newly accredited ambassador of Georgia to Seychelles, Gia Matcharadze, following his presentation of credentials to President Patrick Herminie.

Minister Laporte congratulated the ambassador on his accreditation and wished him success during his tenure, reaffirming Seychelles’ commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation with Georgia.

Discussions focused on maritime and aviation affairs, particularly cooperation on the recognition of training and certification of seafarers for service on Seychelles‑flagged vessels.
