SIF’s new Board of Trustees hosts 44th AGM on Praslin
The Seychelles Islands Foundation’s (SIF) annual general meeting (AGM), held at the Vallée de Mai Unesco site on Praslin during the first weekend of September, brought together local and overseas trustees, some newly appointed this year, and members of SIF's management staff.
The AGM commenced on an uplifting note with the official inauguration of the 30 kW PV system at the Praslin secondary school, which has a value of approximately R500,000.
In the first part of the AGM, the Board of Trustees met with the member of the National Assembly (MNA) for Grand Anse Praslin, Hon. Alvin Grandcourt, and the district administrators from Grand Anse and Baie St Anne, Praslin. They discussed the SIF give-back programme and explored ways the foundation can engage in projects that will further benefit the community of Praslin.
