ESD research highlights need to mainstream sustainability across school subjects

To mark Environment Week, the Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) Section of the Ministry of Education & Human Resource Development hosted the fourth edition of the Katy Beaver Memorial Lecture.

This year’s lecture featured research by principal education officer Lynndina Essack, entitled ‘Mainstreaming ESD in the Secondary National Curriculum: A Case Study of Mont Fleuri Secondary School Implementation of ESD in Science and English’.
