Former President Ramkalawan sends message of solidarity and encouragement

“Following the maritime incident involving Seychelles Coast Guard Patrol Ship Andromache, I extend my solidarity with the Seychelles Defence Forces, the Coast Guards and, most importantly, the personnel and families directly affected.

“To those who have been injured and are presently receiving medical care, our thoughts and prayers are with you. May your health be restored and you be granted a full and speedy recovery.

“To the families anxiously awaiting news of their loved ones who remain missing, I can only imagine the pain of these difficult hours. May God give you courage, strength and comfort as you hold on to hope. You are not alone in your prayers; We stand with you.

“Our men and women in uniform accept extraordinary responsibilities in the service and protection of our country. In moments such as these, we are reminded of the sacrifices they and their families make in answering the call of duty

“I call upon our nation to unite in prayer and solidarity with the Seychelles Defence Forces and all those affected by this incident. Let us continue to pray for those who are injured, for the safe return of those who remain missing, and for strength for their families,

colleagues and loved ones.

“May the Lord watch over our servicemen and women, guide those involved in the ongoing efforts, bring comfort to every troubled heart, and surround all affected families with His grace and protection.
