 ‘Stop Bullying, Choose Respect, Pass It On…’ is the theme of a new national Anti‑Bullying Campaign launched yesterday by the Ministry of Education & Human Resource Development at the SITE auditorium, Mont Fleuri.

Launching the initiative, Minister for Education & Human Resource Development David Pierre urged students, parents, teachers, and the wider community to take a united stand against bullying. He stressed that the slogan is more than a message – it is “a national call to action” for the kind of society Seychelles wants to build.

Minister Pierre warned that bullying can leave “deep and lasting scars”, affecting children’s confidence, emotional well‑being, academic progress, relationships, and sense of belonging. Whether in classrooms, playgrounds, homes, communities, or online, he said, bullying has no place in society.
