Two Seychellois professionals, Annie Vidot and Karthikeyan Kalidoss, will soon head to the United Kingdom after being awarded Chevening Scholarships, the UK's flagship international scholarship programme.
The fully funded scholarships will allow them to pursue master's degrees at leading UK universities, gaining knowledge, skills and international networks that they can bring back to Seychelles throughout their careers.
After applying for Chevening previously, Annie was successful in this year's highly competitive selection process and will study Applied Aquatic Biology at the University of Portsmouth building on her work as fisheries scientist at the Seychelles Fisheries Authority (SFA).
