PNQ seeks answers on ‘Guardian of the Blue Horizon’ distinction
The ‘Guardian of the Blue Horizon’ distinction awarded to Indian Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi during his recent state visit to Seychelles took centre stage in the National Assembly yesterday.
Leader of the opposition, Hon. Bernard Georges, presented a Private Notice Question (PNQ) to the Minister for Foreign Affairs & the Diaspora, Barry Faure. Hon. Georges also queried who drafted the official citation and how a version containing errors came to be published on the Bharatiya Janata Party platform on the same day the award was presented.
