Young learners across Seychelles are discovering the wonders of the ocean through a series of interactive workshops led by Monaco Explorations, part of the final outreach phase of its 2022 Indian Ocean Mission.

Running from July 6 to 10, the initiative is being held in primary schools on Mahé, La Digue, and Praslin, offering pupils a unique opportunity to explore marine science and ocean conservation through engaging, hands-on activities.

The workshops, designed specifically for young students, combine science, environmental education, and practical learning. They focus on two key themes: exploring the hidden world of plankton through live microscope observations, and understanding the growing challenge of marine plastic pollution while identifying practical ways to protect the ocean.
