New Zambian ambassador explores enhanced cooperation with Seychelles

The newly appointed ambassador-designate of Zambia to Seychelles, Alfred Musemuna – who will be based in Kenya – presented his credentials to President Patrick Herminie during an accreditation ceremony held yesterday morning at State House.

Following the ceremony, Ambassador Musemuna also paid a courtesy call on Vice-President Sebastien Pillay.

Speaking to the press, he emphasised the importance of strengthening bilateral ties, noting that discussions focused on opportunities for collaboration across several economic sectors.

“Zambia is strong in tourism, and so is Seychelles,” he said. “We also have a significant number of Zambian expatriates working here, particularly in technical support and education.”
