ADFD funding matter remains before Supreme Court – VP Pillay

Vice-President Sebastien Pillay appeared before the National Assembly yesterday to answer a private notice question tabled by the leader of the opposition, Hon. Bernard Georges.

Hon. Georges sought confirmation from Vice-President Pillay on whether the US $50 million received by Seychelles from the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD) was in fact a loan rather than a grant, as had previously been publicly reported.
