Uganda parliament delegation benchmarks at Seychelles National Assembly
The National Assembly of Seychelles hosted a delegation from the Parliament of Uganda for a five-day (May 28 to June 5, 2026) benchmarking visit, aimed at sharing experiences, exchanging best practices, and strengthening inter-parliamentary cooperation. The delegation comprised Senior Librarian Mildred Assimwe and Records Officer Judith Akello.
During their visit, the delegates paid a series of courtesy calls and held working meetings with key office holders, including deputy Speaker Hon. Egbert Aglae, leader of the opposition Hon. Bernard Georges, leader of government business Hon. Sylvanne Lemiel, and deputy Clerk Alexandria Faure. These engagements provided valuable insights into the structure, leadership, and daily operations of the National Assembly.
