Seychelles establishes first-ever police council

Commissioner of Police Godfra Hermitte, exercising his administrative authority under the Police Force Act, has officially appointed eight members to the first-ever Police Council in Seychelles, marking a historic milestone for the nation’s policing system.

The appointments were made yesterday morning at Police Central Headquarters, where members received their official letters.
