Brigitte Gbilimou to lead Seychelles Mental Health Care Agency

The Office of the President has announced the appointments of Brigitte Gbilimou as the chief executive of the Mental Health Care Agency and Jane Larue as the deputy chief executive.

Both appointments took effect on June 1, 2026.

Brigitte Bgilimou

Brigitte Gbilimou holds a Master’s Degree in Psychology, specialising in Clinical Psychology, from the University of New York in Prague, Czech Republic. She also holds an Honours Degree in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University, South Africa.
