SIT marks two decades of skills, innovation, and opportunity
The Seychelles Institute of Technology yesterday celebrated 20 years of excellence in technical and vocational education. This milestone honoured the contributions of staff, learners, stakeholders, partners, and pioneers who have shaped the institution since its establishment in 2006.
The Seychelles Institute of Technology (SIT), a technical and vocational education and training (TVET) institution, was formally recognised as a Professional Centre in January 2015 under the Tertiary Education Act (TEA) 2011. It offers full-time campus programmes, work-based learning, and apprenticeships designed to equip learners with practical skills, expertise, and knowledge for employment and further study.
