Seychelles and Italy strengthen ties in tourism and maritime security

The ambassador of Italy to Seychelles, Vincenzo Del Monaco, presented his credentials to President Patrick Herminie during a ceremony at State House yesterday morning.

Ambassador Del Monaco emphasised his vision for strengthening bilateral ties, noting that his appointment coincides with the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two nations.

He expressed Italy’s commitment to deepening cooperation across key sectors including tourism, environmental protection, renewable energy, trade, and investment.
