SHRC reaffirms commitment to dignity, equality, and opportunity in employment

“As we commemorate International Labour Day, the Seychelles Human Rights Commission (SHRC) reaffirms the central importance of the right to work as a fundamental human right, integral to both individual dignity and the sustainable development of our nation.

“The right to work, as guaranteed under the Constitution of Seychelles, is not merely an economic necessity, but a cornerstone for the realisation of other fundamental rights, including access to education and healthcare.
