Seychelles NATION newspaper will celebrate its 50th anniversary on June 29, 2026 and in prelude to this major milestone, a special anniversary logo was launched on Thursday.

The logo was officially unveiled by Vice-President Sebastien Pillay alongside the chairman of the National Information Services Agency (Nisa) board of directors, Kurtis Lespoir, during a ceremony held on Thursday April 30 at Augerine in Beau Vallon.

Produced by Nisa, the Seychelles NATION newspaper was established on June 29, 1976, as Seychelles stepped into independence, adopting the name ‘NATION’.
