Jean-Marc Lablache is Seychelles Media Commission’s new chairperson

 

Jean-Marc Lablache is the new chairperson of the Seychelles Media Commission, the Office of the President announced yesterday.

This follows the resignation of Kate Carolus late last year.

Three new board members have also been appointed namely, Christine Simeon, Jules Hoareau and Larrey Chetty.

The other members of the commission are Rassin Vannier, Travis Boniface, Joëlle Perreau, Patrick Hoareau and Romano Laurence.

The Seychelles Media Commission was established to preserve the freedom of the media and to maintain and improve the standards of journalism in Seychelles.
