Seychelles and IUCN forge stronger ties for climate and blue economy
A delegation from the International Union for Conservation of Nature, Eastern and Southern Africa Regional Office, led by regional director Luther Anukur, is undertaking an official visit to Seychelles to deepen collaboration on biodiversity conservation, climate resilience, and sustainable development.
During the visit, the delegation met with the Minister for Fisheries, Agriculture and the Blue Economy, Wallace Cosgrow, and representatives from the Department of Blue Economy. The meeting provided an open dialogue platform between the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) Eastern and Southern Africa Regional Office (ESARO) leadership and key government stakeholders.
