The Commission of Inquiry into the lease and development of Assomption Island yesterday heard testimonies from four witnesses as it continues to examine the circumstances surrounding the lease and development of the island.
The first scheduled witness was former Vice-President Ahmed Afif, who served under the Linyon Demokratik Seselwa (LDS) administration. However, his testimony did not proceed after a disagreement arose over the language to be used during the proceedings.
