Olivier Pascal Nibourette was born on May 17, 1977, and grew up on the idyllic island of La Digue. The second youngest in a family of six, with one sister and four brothers, his childhood was shaped by the warmth of family life and the values instilled at home.
He began his education at La Digue school, attending from crèche through secondary four, before joining the National Youth Service (NYS) to complete his secondary studies. Later, he pursued post-secondary training in bartending and waitering at the Seychelles Hospitality and Tourism Training College (SHTTC), now known as the Seychelles Tourism Academy (STA).
