Senior police officers have begun a two-day training programme to strengthen the force’s response to hate crime, focusing on legislation, investigative techniques, charging decisions, and victim support.

The opening session, held yesterday at REFLECS 3, Bois de Rose, brought together commanders and senior officers under the guidance of Wendy Boucrot of the Human Dignity Trust and Professor Mark Walters, a UK-based expert in criminal law and criminology.
