New “Eyebrowed” seabream puts Seychelles in scientific spotlight
A newly described species of emperor fish, Gymnocranius indicus, is shining a spotlight on Seychelles’ role in uncovering hidden marine biodiversity.
Although this Indian Ocean seabream occurs across several countries, specimens from Seychelles provided most of the material used to describe it as new to science.
