PUC launches investigation
The Public Utilities Corporation (PUC) has strongly condemned what it believes to be acts of vandalism along a major water pipeline network.
The damage, discovered in the early hours of yesterday morning, caused significant disruption to water supply in several areas.
Speaking at a press conference yesterday afternoon, PUC’s chief operations officer, Ravin Sunassee, confirmed that the damage was found on pipelines running along the main road from Pointe Au Sel to Anse Faure.
