Ministry of Social Affairs engages in awareness march on gender-based violence

The Ministry of Social Affairs, Family and Equality, through the Family and Equality department organised an awareness march on gender-based violence yesterday, as part of activities marking International Women’s Day 2026 under the theme ‘Rights, Justice, and Action for All Women and Girls’.
The march aimed to raise awareness on the prevention of gender-based violence and to promote the protection, rights, and safety of women and girls in communities. It also served as a call for collective action and solidarity in ending all forms of violence.
