Inspiring youth engagement in the Blue Economy

The Seychelles department of Blue Economy hosted a webinar yesterday, where young ocean advocates and future leaders from the continent had the opportunity to deep-dive into Seychelles’ 10-year Blue Economy journey.

The online event not only showcased Seychelles’ significant progress in the sector, but also offered participants a chance to connect with local leaders, youth champions, and fellow Blue Economy enthusiasts on the continent, as well as exploring career and innovation opportunities in the Blue Economy.

Seychelles NATION reached out to the department, through director Terence Crea, who highlighted the importance and significance of such activities, and youth involvement in the Blue Economy.
