Memorial gathering: Thank you and Adieu Dr Shobha Hajarnis!

“Your presence made a difference, and your absence is deeply felt.” These heartfelt words echoed through an emotional memorial ceremony held yesterday at the Sheikh Khalifa Diagnostic Centre as colleagues and friends bid farewell to Dr Shobha Hajarnis.
Dr Shobha passed away on Monday April 14 while undergoing treatment in India. She was born on October 8, 1947 in Pune, India, and her maiden name was Shobhana Rajwade. The youngest of three siblings, she grew up with two older brothers, eight and six years her senior. She completed her primary and secondary education in Pune.
