MLGCA approves over 40 new programmes for its revamped animateur scheme

Local Government and Community Affairs ministry has officially launched a revitalised animateur scheme.

This was during a short ceremony last Friday at the Les Mamelles community centre, where some 40 innovative and exciting new programmes received their renewal or acceptance letters.

The ministry said it has taken bold step to revamp this scheme, ensuring that it is not only effective but deeply rooted in community relevance and impact. When addressing the guests, Minister for Local Government and Community Affairs Rose-Marie Hoareau said the transformation of the animateur scheme has been one of the ministry’s biggest objectives this year.
