The National Assembly's role as the Legislative branch of government was also discussed, with Hon. Mancienne outlining the work he has conducted and overseenin his role as Speaker of the National Assembly, and through his engagement of parliamentary forums such as the Inter-Parliamentary Union and SADC-PF.
Additionally, there was an engaging discussion on women's and youth's participation in Parliament and the government, and the importance of oversight on the Executive branch.
