Applications now open for 2026-2027 Fulbright Programs |10 March 2025

The U.S. embassy in Victoria has announced that applications are now open for the 2026-2027 Fulbright Programs, offering Seychellois students, academics, and professionals the opportunity to study and conduct research in the United States.

The deadline to submit applications is May 10, 2025.

The Fulbright Program is the U.S. government's flagship international academic exchange initiative, aimed at fostering knowledge, collaboration, and cultural understanding. Seychellois applicants can apply for:

Fulbright Foreign Student Program – Provides funding for Seychellois graduate students to pursue a master’s or PhD degree at a U.S. university, covering tuition, living expenses, and other costs for up to two years.

Fulbright Visiting Scholar Program – Supports Seychellois academics and professionals in conducting advanced research or developing academic programs at U.S. institutions:

✔ Program & Curriculum Development Grants – Enhance academic programs and curricula with U.S. expertise.
