Transport Minister Antony Derjacques conducted a site visit in Beau Vallon yesterday afternoon to discuss a proposed project put forward by the district authorities in partnership with local investor Ocean basket.

The site, located in front of the Beau Vallon crèche and day care centre, is being proposed for a commercial complex. Among the planned facilities are a fresh fish shop, meat and vegetable outlets, a bakery, banking services, and office spaces for local business owners. It will also have a dedicated parking area and a drop-off zone for school children, ensuring smooth traffic flow during peak hours.

Minister Derjacques was accompanied by the elected member of the National Assembly for Beau Vallon, Honourable John Hoareau, principal secretary for the department of land transport Patrick Andre, Ocean Basket representative, Julius Bossy and district administrators for Beau Vallon and Bel Ombre.  According to the minister, the complex will be similar to the ones in Pointe Larue, Anse Aux Pins and Mont Fleuri.
