‘Coopérative des Artisans’ celebrates 87th anniversary
The ‘Coopérative des Artisans’, formerly known as Seychelles Home Industries, yesterday commemorated its 87th anniversary.
The event at its premises on Independence Avenue, adjacent to the National Museum, brought together key figures from the organisation and the wider community to reflect on its rich legacy and promising future.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of the secretary general of the Seychelles National Institute for Culture, Heritage and the Arts, David André. Joining him were the organisation’s chairperson Colin Albest and previous chairperson, Mariette Mc Elvy, whose leadership was pivotal through significant phases of growth.
