Captain Buisson is the new harbour master of Port Victoria

Captain Roy Buisson is the new harbour master of Port Victoria.

The Seychelles Ports Authority (SPA) announced his appointment as harbour master of Port Victoria in a press communique released yesterday.

Captain Buisson’s appointment took effect on Tuesday February 1, 2022.

He now heads SPA’s operation department and will be vital in realising SPA’s current and future development plans.

Captain Buisson holds an Advanced Diploma of Applied Science (Nautical Science) from the Australian Maritime College and is currently pursuing a Post Graduate Diploma in Maritime Executive Management with the World Maritime University in Malmo, Sweden.

He brings a wealth of experience having held key positions in local and international shipping/petroleum companies, the last role being a master mariner aboard the Seychelles Petroleum Company Ltd. tanker.
