Mega jackpot winner at Gran Kaz |24 January 2017

Andre Medine, a resident of Anse Royale, is the winner of Gran Kaz casino’s mega jackpot worth R821,039.00.

Mr Medine was presented with his cheque yesterday at the Gran Kaz casino located on Francis Rachel Street by Meggy Dupres, the corporate and operation manager of the entertainment establishment.

According to Gran Kaz casino, Mr Medine’s winnings is one of the biggest, if not the biggest, jackpot ever won on a slot machine in Seychelles.

It was around 7.30pm on Saturday night when Mr Medine traipsed into Gran Kaz casino for his very first time with a friend and won the elusive jackpot.

“I had been playing in other casinos during the same night so I had almost run out of money by the time we came to Gran Kaz,” he said.

“I kept playing on different machines until I got lucky and won the jackpot on one of the Red Eye Nickels machine,” he said.

When asked what he plans on doing with his jackpot, Mr Medine replied that he is thinking about purchasing a parcel of land to build his own house.

“I’m currently renting my house so it would be great to have a place for myself,” he said enthusiastically.
