Bodybuilder Dugasse impresses in Rodrigues |02 December 2015

Young bodybuilder Mervin Dugasse produced a great performance to finish in third position in a competition in Rodrigues at the weekend.

Dugasse, who earlier this year won the Seychelles Bodybuilding Championship, was competing in the -90kg category at the competition.

He was victorious by winning his category against five other bodybuilders to make the final against the other six category winners and he earned third place overall. He finished behind Mauritians Jimmy Raynald who was first and runner-up Denis Ayen.

Dugasse also won the award for best abdominal across all seven categories.

The other bodybuilder at the competition was none other than highly regarded veteran Joelen Valentin who competed in the 50 years+ age category, where he finished in second place among five competitors.

The bodybuilders were accompanied by Seychelles Bodybuilding Federation chairman Regis Delorie.
