The Chalets opened its doors on October 20, 1994 and since this humble date operation has seen great success, both with further expansion as well as higher occupancy levels. It is the pioneer in its field and has weathered global recessions throughout the past 21 years.

Employing 100% Seychellois staff it has enjoyed expansions and recently a major renovation resulting in a new fresh look that clients are delighted with.
Chalets d’Anse Forbans is very fortunate to enjoy a large repeat clientele that return each year, some for as long as the past 20 years! It definitely seems to be able to deliver a true Seychelles experience to all its guests.
Its business success is well demonstrated with its past rewards such as Tripadvisors’ Certificates of Excellence in 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015 as well as its excellent scoring on Booking.com and Tripadvisor for their reviews.
The management team consists of Daphne Jumeau (managing director and sole owner), Jean-Pierre Laporte (operations manager), Brigitte Haworth (office manager) and Lisa Laporte Booyse (marketing manager). This is a remarkable and unique Seychellois family business with mother, son and daughters teaming up together.
