Lokomotiv Moscow here for two friendly matches |26 March 2015

 
Russian beach soccer champions Lokomotiv Moscow are here at the invitation of the Seychelles Football Federation for a series of friendly matches.

The Russian club arrived in the country on Saturday morning and will be here up to March 31 where they will be conducting joint training sessions with our beach soccer national team who are preparing for the Confederation of African Football (Caf) qualifying tournament which the country will host next month.

Two World Cup champions title and three times Russian champions, Lokomotiv Moscow boast eight Russian internationals and three Ukraine internationals.

As Russia are the current beach soccer world champions, it is expected that our local players will learn a lot from their experienced players.
The team’s managress is Kate Gainutdinova and she said the team like it here as the weather is fine.

Lokomotiv Moscow will play the first of two friendly matches today at 5pm at the Roche Caïman sand pitch. The second match is on Saturday, starting at 11am at the same venue.

The team were formed in 2010 and are linked with the Lokomotiv Moscow football team.
