Elena bids to be crowned Miss World |23 November 2008

Elena, 22, was chosen as Miss Seychelles Islands in July this year out of 17 girls.

Before the Miss World pageant opens, Elena and some 90 other contestants from around the world will attend intensive rehearsals and take part in filming and photography sessions.

Together with the other contestants she will attend fundraising events for charity projects, mainly to help children with HIV/Aids.

Seychelles’ honorary consul in South Africa, Marie-May Kolsch, and South African business partners and associates are co-sponsoring Elena’s stay in Johannesburg.
