Vre Lanmour show for Valentine’s Day |10 February 2007
Dave Sinon, the official ladies’ man as he is presently leading the love brigade full force with his song Doudou, will organise a Valentine’s Day Special on Wednesday February 14.
Berjaya Beau Vallon Bay Beach Resort & Casino will host the evening, starting at 7 p.m. with dinner.
At 9.30 p.m., there will be a live show by Dave Sinon alongside friends Philip Toussaint, Antoinette Dodin and Belinda Moncherry among many more. The Offload band will also perform on the night.
This Valentine’s Day package is worth R250 and Dave Sinon is expected to perform nine of the 12 songs that feature on his Vre Lanmour album.
The 36-year-old bassist and singer will use the show to officially launch his first album.
Quite interestingly so, as his compositions treat the theme of love, which he described as “complicated and vast” when talking to Seychelles Nation in December last year.
The fact that love comes in many forms, there's a song to suit every situation on Vre Lanmour – the love of a parent, a child, the love of God for His people and, of course, romantic love.
Songs like Tonight, Special Girl, Lord, Papa, Mon Kontan Ou and Manman, have helped to make the album a massive hit. If you haven’t bought your copy yet, don’t waste any more time. Get one and feel the vibes.
Among the many musicians expected to accompany the artistes on the night are Mervin Nibourette (drums), Peter Jules (keyboard), Danny Jules (lead and rhythm guitar), Paul Sinon (lead and rhythm guitar), Philip Toussaint (lead and rhythm guitar), Johnny Robert (keyboard), Jean Quatre (saxophone) and Bruce Freminot (percussion).
Make your Valentine's Day special this year. Come with the one you love at the Berjaya Beau Vallon Bay Beach Resort & Casino on Wednesday February 14.
